Do I need a ticket for the exhibition?

No. Second Colour in The Upper Room is free and open daily 12:00–20:00 during the festival.

Are the silent films really silent?

Never. Every silent film is shown with live music, either a new score or a live piano accompaniment.

Can I bring food and drink in?

Drinks from the bar are welcome in both screens. Please leave hot food in the foyer.

Are screenings suitable for children?

Most are. Age guidance is listed on each film page. Under 16s go free with an adult.

What if a screening sells out?

We release returns at the door 15 minutes before the start. Join the queue at the box office.
