Misregister started in 2024 in a print studio on Kiln Street, with one projector, one restored film and a borrowed harmonium.

Restored
We work with Northlight Film Archive to bring back films that have been lost, damaged or out of circulation for decades.

Scored
Each restoration gets a new score. Musicians write it for the room and play it live, so no two screenings sound the same.

Printed
Every poster, ticket and image is printed in two inks on a riso duplicator. This website follows the same rule.
